The Driway Weathercoat The Claymore Shop Trench Rain Coat Black Vintage Medium. The jacket has a few faint light marks towards the bottom of the piece (right side) but overall it's in nice vintage condition. There are also some wrinkles on the collar that need to be pressed out. I'm not sure what the material is but it is a med-heavyweight material with a satin liner. The jacket is described as a raincoat but I can't guarantee it's waterproof the way current materials are. I have read that these were mainly made with whipcord material. "a cotton, woolen, or worsted fabric with a steep, diagonally ribbed surface. 2. a strong, hard-twisted cord, sometimes used for the lashes of whips". Likely a tightly woven cotton/poly blend. This jacket was made in England likely in the 60's or even earlier. "The Driway Weathercoat" was a staple in that time period. This was sold at The Claymore Shop in Birmingham, Michigan which is still around today. They are a nice luxury shop that carries the best in high quality menswear. There is no size tag on this piece but I have measured it and estimate it to be a men's Medium. I've also tried it on and made a decision based on my clothing experience. It can of course be worn oversized by smaller sized people. Measurements are in the pictures as well as listed below. Fast to ship and free returns. Measurements laying flat: 22.5 in pit to pit 38" top to bottom 16" sleeve length (a slightly cropped style) Thanks!
