I'm fairly certain I saw Weather Channel reporters in the 90's reporting on hurricanes wearing these jackets. Even if I'm wrong, there is no question this can withstand seriously rainy weather.
Jacket is in used good condition. No holes or tears. Does have some gray spots which I tried to scrub off to no avail.
One buckle closure has been riveted back onto the jacket, as visible in the photos.
